FounderI'm a critical thinker and lifelong learner with around 5 years of relevant experience designing and leading programmes for teachers, facilitators, and field staff in formal, non-formal and accelerated learning contexts across NGO, INGO, and startup settings. Proven track record in coaching and supervising multi-role teams, contextualising training materials for marginalised learners, and integrating TaRL, SEL, and active learning methodologies into practical classroom application. Co-created 6 social innovation projects and implemented behaviourally informed interventions in classrooms and the community to solve social and pedagogical challenges that improved outcomes for 2,500+ students and 5,500+ community members.
Mirza Muhammad Tehzib Sadaf
Co-LeadMy name is Mirza Muhammad Tehzib Sadaf. I am the Co-Lead of AltLearn. I am an education and humanitarian professional with 5+ years of experience working in refugee, host-community, and underserved education contexts in Bangladesh. I have supported learning programs reaching 2,500+ displaced, host-community, and underserved learners; designed and delivered training for 100+ educators; and collaborated with NGOs, UN agencies, academic institutions, and community partners. My work focuses on education in complex settings, post-secondary access, capacity building, and trauma-informed, inclusive learning. At AltLearn, I work on developing modules for teacher training and alternative assessment tools for enhancing students' learning experiences. I am an advocate of UDL and self-reliance in learning.

Trainer & Legal AdvisorNavila Islam Sugandha is an Advocate and development professional with over four years of experience in legal research, youth empowerment, and capacity building. With academic backgrounds in Law and Educational Leadership, she has worked with organisations including Teach For Bangladesh, BRAC, and Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust on initiatives focused on social justice, gender equity, child protection, and leadership development. She is passionate about creating inclusive learning spaces and empowering young people through advocacy, training, and community-driven change.
